Chalk Tibet, 10/2011

An original form of protest is taking place all over the world. Drawing with a chalk on the ground a human silhouette and placing besides a slogan, candles or flowers to remember the Tibetan Martyrs. In particular, the tibetan People monks that immolate themselves to represent their action against the Beijing Government.

These are the photos of the Chalk Tibet event held in Rome. They have been realized by a small team of volunteers of Aref International on last October 28th and 29th 2011.

The silhouettes have been drawn in some of the most relevant places of Rome:
